st. joseph's cemetery
I didn't even know this cemetery existed until I saw it on the City of Fremont's website of historic attractions. Some of the graves were more than 100 years old, but some were only a few years old, so I guess they still do burials here. A great deal of the names were Hispanic and I'm assuming that this was the city's primary burying place for Mexican and Portuegese immigrants until the middle of the 20th century.
