new paper journal
I finished my Moleskine last weekend. I started writing in it in August and only missed a few days. A lot of stuff happened in those 3 months! I don't always write about personal things here, because this blog is public, but let's just say I usually didn't have to struggle for something to write about at the end of most days.
Anyway, I went to Borders on Saturday to get a new one, but I was seduced by the pretty covers of the Paperblanks. They also have ribbon page markers; instead of elastic strap closures, most of them have magnetic clasps. The paper is thicker and a little more textured than Moleskine paper, but it's also very pleasurable to write on.
<----- I love Virgin Mary iconography and couldn't resist this one, although it's fairly small and probably won't hold all the pasted-in stuff I put in my Moleskine: pictures cut out of magazines, postcards, photos, etc. This is more of a pocket diary. The cover is very durable, and I especially like the metal corner protectors.
