Valley Girl Intelligentsia has successfully coralled me into contributing to her new DC-based feminist culture blog, Hey, Be Us!, despite the fact that I live as far away from the nation's capitol as one can get and still be in the contiguous 48. The fact that I'm a loudmouthed sarcastic bitch counts for more than mere geography.

Currently my post about Planned Parenthood accepting donations to kill black babies is up. I had a second where I wondered if linking to that might be revealing too much (I pretty much write this blog with the assumption that employers, landlords, and ex-boyfriends are all reading it); then I realized that everyone who knows me already knows ~~I fully support killin' teh unbornz~~ I'm pro-choice.

The post inspired a commenter to bring up Cabin by the Lake, thereby qualifying it as The Best Thing I've Ever Written.
