The silver tiara matched his silver stilettos when Johnny Vera was named prom queen Saturday night at Roosevelt High School. He's the first transgender prom queen in Fresno -- and possibly anywhere.

I really wish the article had used the pronoun "she" and not "he", but it's still pretty good. I guess I have to stop making fun of Fresno now--even the kids who said they were voting for someone else or that they thought the prom queen should be a (biological) girl were like "Eh, no big deal. And he probably is going to win."
