Bottom: Smoked salmon rolls*.
Top: Boiled egg, ambrosia fruit salad, tangerine.
Lid: Spicy pickled green beans.
*These are so delicious! I used a lavash (Armenian flatbread) lightly flavored with olive oil, and whipped cream cheese with chives. Spread the cream cheese on one half of the lavash, place very thin slices of salmon on the other, and roll from the salmon half. The cream cheese will act as an adhesive and seal your roll closed. Then just slice. They got a little munched because I wanted to pack them really tight, but they tasted wonderful.
I hadn't planned on going to Daiso again; I just went a couple weeks ago. But on Saturday I just had a hunch that they had some new bento merchandise, and luckily I played it, because I was right. I got 2 new boxes, some handtowels and a case for them, and a variety of small containers.
This is one of the boxes; the other is pretty much identical to one I already have: same size, same brand, just a different color and pattern on the lid. I don't really need it... I guess I have an addiction. Oh well, it's a pretty cheap one. I like the high lid on this box, good for cutlery and/or a small pair of chopsticks, or snacks.
I bought a pair of these straps when I went to Daiso last month.
